Hello there and a lovely Friday to you all! This magical week we actually talked about things that aren’t games! Anyway, as always, Friday is a great day to go over what we talked about earlier in the week. It’s sort of like that review session you have in class right before a huge test, except there is no test, so it’s much better. So let’s get on with it shall we? Indeed!
Top 5 Music Apps
Firstly, I showed you all some of the top music apps for Android that you should be downloading this minute and checking out. I mentioned SoundCloud, an app that most users may just look over since it focuses on new artists. Then there is Google Play Music, a very straight-forward app that gives you tons of space for songs. TuneIn Radio gives you access to tons of radio stations from all over the world, as well as live shows. Pandora works just like its desktop counterpart, but now can be on your Android device. Finally, we have Spotify which is like an epic mutant, taking features from all other music apps and sewing them together into one amazing program.
3 Great Photoshop CS5 Features
Next I wrote about Photoshop CS5 and some of the features that make it really stand out as a photo editing program. The new paint engine lets you paint over any photo, adding a cool artistic touch. You can even use it to create original artwork without a photo. The Puppet Warp tool is great for messing around with proportions while keeping all measurements accurate. The HDR Pro tool lets you have tons of different exposure shots come together to form one amazing photo.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out Tips and Tricks
Lastly, I showed you guys some cool tips and tricks to use in The Simpsons: Tapped Out to earn more donuts, cash, or even XP. The first one is to tap on Homer 10 times in a row to get 10 donuts and a Jebediah statue. After that, make sure you organize the tasks your characters do based on whether or not you will be actively playing the game. There is another trick that lets you collect all XP and cash on the screen by tapping on a single stack, letting it expand, and then opening the task list. In 10 seconds or so you should have collected all cash and XP on the screen. Finally, make sure to invest some time in planting trees, landscaping, and other seemingly useless tasks; they really do earn you XP.
